Has Anyone Tried Natural Route ?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I have been recently diagnosed and seeking information about treatment. I am willing to try the natural route first and then go on to medication. I have recently changed my diet and it has helped me in many ways but the pain is not completely gone which wears me down. Heat and Ice works but I can't keep going it all day. I have not lost any mobility but fear that I could in the near future. I was wondering if anyone has tried a natural way of approach?

Psoriasis has been linked to gut flora. Many with Psoriasis believe diet has been a great help

Sorry about all the questions but in order to share my approach it is important to know what type of P. Have.

Hello There, I ve had psoriasis on skin since teen years and now it's almost gone due to diet. My elbows are clear and my knees are too. My scalp is almost clear and legs have never been better. I eat fish , leafy greens, nuts, fruits and lean chicken. I also stay away from anything processed and use olive oil and lots of fresh garlic with my meals. I have currently been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and waiting for labs and testing to begin formal treatment with rheumatologist. I am supplementing with glucosamine and taking natural supplements to target inflammation. My skin is so clear I am happy in that regard but my joint pain is steady but it does ease up here and there. I have been told by dermatologists and doctors over the years that I have psoriasis never giving me a subtitle. I have always resisted the hard core medications because of fear of long term side effects. The natural supplements are made up of Turmeric root, ginger and a bunch of enzymes. It's my third day on it so have not really felt it working.
