Has anyone tried Prolia for Osteoporosis?

Posted , 3 users are following.

I am getting my first Prolia shot in the morning & am a little nervous about possible side effects. Has anyone tried Prolia & have good/bad reports? There seem to be no side effects at all or terrible ones for people, so it is a little perplexing. On the edge of my seat here...

I will ask my doctor about the medication you are taking. Prolia has some serious side affects which is what I'm worried about. It's a shot every 6 months. I am in the U.S. so not sure if we have the same drugs as the UK. But good luck & hope it works well for you.

Hello Forgetmenot,  I've just seen your post and am wondering how you've coped with your Prolia injection.  I know two friends who've had it with no side effects at all, so I decided to go for it.  Since having had the injection in July last year, my back has got progressively worse and I've been told that Prolia can cause arthritic changes.  I have refused any more injections and just hope that this an get better, as the pain and discomfort has become very bad.
