Has anyone tried the treatment LipiFlow

Hello,

My doctor wants me to try LipiFlow thermal pulsation treatment. It supposed to provide heat and treat the lacrimal gland. He said studies show it can provide months if not years of treatment. It's not covered by insurance so the treatment will cost between $1,200 - $2,000. I'll pay anything at this point to provide relief but I have never heard of the treatment and wanted to hear from someone who has had it done.

    Firstly, what are your symptoms?

      Really the only symptom I have is constant burning in both eyes. I sometimes get a pulling feeling in both eyes when I look to the left and right. That is usually associated at the times the burning feels the worst.
