Has anyone tried 5HTP supplement for anxiety?
Years ago I started suffering from severe nausea and loose stools and the doctors have said it is IBS however no IBS medication helps. Anyway, I feel like I've ended up with anxiety and panic attacks through it all. I panic and worry that I'll feel sick whenever I am going out. If I'm in the middle of shopping and it comes over me and I can't leave a trolley full of food, I'll panic. I hate it, i get myself so worked up over simple tasks i use to do with no problem at all! I done CBT a a year ago and it did really help but I feel like I've went backwards again.
My doctor has started me on an anti depressant for IBS in case it helps but also for the panic attacks. I'm hating the side effects and I don't really want to be on this. It's making me feel so sick. I am however giving it a month on the tablets however I had been reading up on the 5HTP. Wasn't sure how good it was?

I'm supplementing Gingko Biloba and also Olive Leaf Extract. I've never been more calm since.

Is there any side effects with Gingko Biloba? I have seen it in stores such as H&B, also meant to be good for blood circulation, but when I looked it up online it says may not be safe?

If you stick with the correct dosage (1 per day) it should be safe. If you are unsure, take `1 per 2 days and you can't go wrong.
