Has anyone tried Using IBgard?

I've been using an OTC product called IBgard for about a week. I'm sensing that it may be helping to control my colon, which I think is good. I'd llike to hear if anyone else has used this, and what their opinion is. I suggest you try it for IBS.

Is it available in the U.K.? I've never heard of it! What are your main symptoms that it's helped?

IBGard is sustained release peppermint oil so you could probably find something similar here in the UK.

I want to try it, but I also have GERD, and am not sure if the peppermint oil will be something that might affect that.  I have enough trouble with anything spicy, and I am trying to avoid PPI's, and only take acid reducers as it is.  I would hate to spend almost 13 bucks for something I can't take.

I'm still using it in an as needed basis. Either I'm just going through a common period when I'm OK, or it is working. My horrifying 4 am wake up and subseqquent misery seems to be diminishing more and more as when I first wake up, 2 am to 4 am I take two IBgard and a xanax. It's really a fairly positive experience now. I know very little about GERD but I think you should ask your doctor or pharmacist. I, personally think it would be OK.
