Has anyone tried vaginal steaming for BV?

Hello ladies, like all of you I have been suffering from bacterial vaginitis. Last time I tested positive was literally RIGHT after a round of oral antibiotics. To follow they gave me an antibiotic shot, and 2 different kinds to take for 2 weeks twice a day (metro and doxy mono). It’s been about 5 days since I discontinued and it’s back of course. I don’t really get itch, just wetness and a LOT of discharge. I can keep the smell down for the most part, too. I have tried everything like all of you. Boric acid, yoni pearls, apple cider vinegar, etc etc. Tests keep saying positive for BV. I recently found steaming and the information about Steamy Chick. Anyone tried this and seen success?

My dr also prescribed me to take metronidazole and then nothing happens. I stikl have my discharge. And now I'm trying with a suppository for 6days already still the discharge isn't gone. I haven't tried yet the home remedies but they told me to try the apple cider vinegar.

I had the same problem for a year and a half. It was horrible. I was on antibiotics twice a month. I tried every home remedy out there. It was horrible. I finally demanded all my labs be checked bc I knew something had to be off. Turned out my vitamin d was low. I would get an infection anytime I had any sugar AT ALL. Vitamin D deficiency causes sugar intolerance and a suppressed immune system. Among a lot of other things. After taking 10,000iu of Vit D3 with vitamin K2 I am all good. It took about two months for me to be pretty good. After a month I could have a little sugar. It gets better every month. But I did forget it on vacation for 6 days and my symptoms came back. So I took 4 pills the day I got back, then 3 the next day, then 2 and back to 1. For two days I also used these lactic acid suppositories I found on amazon. I also dumped my probiotic in my hand, added a few drops of water to make a paste and put it in a divet on u suppository. After increasing the Vit D and doing this, my symptoms went away with no antibiotics!  I hope this helps! If you have questions feel free to message me or reply. This is a horrible thing to live with.
