Has anyone tried Valerian Root (capsules) 750mg

Have suffered from UC since childhood, although previous diagnosis ranged between 'stomach ulcer complications' and a variety of various 'diagnosis'. Eventually can say I'm gluten intolerant +. Have been really with flare ups of U.C. over the last 4 years has been a nightmare, 22 per day at toilet sometimes. My dad, who also has same problems, (grand parents ect, as well), suggested 4 month ago to try Varerian root extract capsules, (I was at the end of the road and no life at all without a tiolet nearby). I spoke to my healthcare...end there. I decided to give it a try, anything eh..! Within 2 days I had stablised, now 4 month later I have no cramps, toilet normal, and back at work.

Has anyone else tried valerian? I take 750mg at night (about 7.00pm I find better as can be a bit slow in mornings if taken later).

No have not tried this. I managed to recently get mine settled with lepicol and psyllium seed ,hemp seed and couple tablespoons kefir. It's been the best ever but would certainly be willing to try with this too. I have it twenty five years and have tried so many things .
