Has anyone used a vibration plate to aid rehabilitation after TKR?

I was wondering if using a vibration plate would be dangerous after Knee replacement..... I'm 8 weeks post op and would like to be more mobile.....Thanks in advance

    Ooooh heck...I'm no physician but I would have thought NOoooooo....Wouldn't it stand a chance of making it loose?

      Haha.... I'm not sure... but it doesn't vibrate as much as you think.... definitely does work the muscles though..  . i am seeing consultant on weds..  will ask him then.... just wondered before i consigned this dust collecting piece of equipment  to the garage. .

    I think I'd have a word with your GP before using it ...some things do more harm than good

    I agree with Jean. Be interesting to find out what your doctor says though.

    I've got a personal trainer and he says that you should never use the vibration plate machines once you've got a joint replacement.
