Has anyone used an infrared heat lamp for LS?

I do once a week use a far infrared sauna (no lights just carbon heat panels) but wonder if anyone in this forum has used the red light for therapy. Thanks.

Early on in 'the game' I have been thinking of using a red light therapy.  Even thought of purchasing a sauna with these heat panels, anything to control LS.  But then I found out that I'm not doing so well with heat.  Cool is better.  And when I started to use bicarbonate (baking soda) and borax there was no need to do anything else other than the use of coconut oil for moisture.

so you have had some relief for LS with baking soda and borax (how much and how often) then use coconut oil.

There has been a lot of discussion on borax.  See and read "An Experiment with borax" discussion.

?I take a borax bath every other day, and add 1/6 cup per bath.  After most bathroom visits I rinse with lukewarm water in which three pinches of borax or baking soda.  Deb dry and apply a small amount of coconut oil.

?Next to that I avoid all added sugar, no alcohol and no caffeine.  I'm eating gluten free and eat limited dairy products.  (goat cheese and a good quality yoghurt)

?With this I keep all nicely under control.
