Has anyone with Fybromyalgia got Essential Tremor

Posted , 4 users are following.

Hi all... I've not been diagnosed with fybromyalgia but I have most of the symptoms on small to medium scale.. ie. I manage to function day to doing physical job housekeeping, but I have been diagnosed with Essential Tremor and wondered if anyone else has it??

I will be giving up work as it is far too exhausting now with pain and tremors and I'm moving back to Ireland for an easier pace of life..

Margaret.

    Hello Margaret

i have had fibromyalgia for 15 years now and have never heard of ET but i do suffer with symptoms. i just thought it was part of my fibromyalgia. i am sorry to hear you are suffering. there are support groups and forum's to chat to people with similar ailments and sometimes its just nice to know you're not going mad there are others in the same boat.

as for what to do about all the pain and fatigue ..... acceptance ! not giving up, but realising you have limits and setting boundaries has helped me survive !

    best wishes

Thanks Theresa for your kind words.. It's all very new to me, I've had lots of blood tests and mri scan of my head.. Nothing sinister going on thankfully... I've got mild scoliosis in my back which happened as I was a child growing and won't get any worse but is playing havoc with my muscles, I've been to physio therapy but too knackered to do the exercises.. Giving up work is now best option before I'm completely knackered altogether.. I'm only 49..
