Has the forum got M.E again ??

I found your article quite helpful.
I just recently had a diagnosis of CFS and did not believe or understand what it was about. It is good to know in your article that may there be some options and support to improve this condition. It is also helpful to know there are books or organisations that may be good for me during this period. I have found that doing a little bit of excercise make me tired but helps me to avoid depression or feeling part of the community.

Daisy I don't think one person comunicates with the other, in any business these days.
Glad your feeling brighter Katie.

Hope I didn't go through all that medical (+ journey!) for nothing
Still, perhaps they'll leave me alone now once I've got the results
My computer is on go-slow today, and I keep getting 'webpage not found' and 'critical error' :steam: Perhaps it's the snow.......
According to the weather forecast, we may get some snow tonight :snowman:
I'll believe it when I see it

But yes, horlicks and champagne cocktail is defintely medicinal :D
Going back to you though ... what a waste of time and money making you trek all that way for nothing  Surely if your notes say you are exempt until 2014 then you are exempt for goodness sake
Why the heck do we [b:714aaf5990]keep [/b:714aaf5990]getting ads for bad breath ... is there something our best friends haven't told us

Before I went for my medical I made a lot of phone calls to make sure I really[b:a3a48c2c21] did[/b:a3a48c2c21] have to go and was assured that I certainly did !
I don't mind, as long as I get the answer I want ( ) as perhaps they'll forget about me then.......
I think it's to do with the fact that SDA has been phased out now, and so different rules apply or something - I got lost when they tried to explain it to me
I'm creating problems by being on a benefit that no longer exists

Sleep is nature's way of healing so sleep away (after your Horlicks of course)

There was someone else their who I had never met before reading bits from a notebook that Joanne had told her.
Yesterday I went to see my Gp I just wanted to have a talk with him as I feel I am going round in circles and getting no were. He is normally really nice and supportive, put got no where. He was late due to the weather and I think he was trying to get through us as quickly as possible. He changed me back onto sodium valporate for my headaches. I told him about other problems and he just asked when I would be seeing the neurologist again.
I feel no one really knows how to help so just keeps passing me on to someone else. :wah: :wah: :wah: :weird:

I had an appointment to see [b:edc695d98b]my[/b:edc695d98b] GP today (my medication was due for renewal) ... I never bother her otherwise. Once again, she didn't even ask me how I was coping, just turned to her computer and printed out my usual prescription. I might just as well have been asking her for a prescription for laxatives for constipation the interest she was taking
Surely, she could have just checked how I was coping  I know it's a busy time of year and the surgerys are full, but when you think of what they are earning for heaven's sake :evil:And I had to wait over a week for the flipping appointment in the first place :steam:
Makes me want to[size=24:edc695d98b] spit [/size:edc695d98b]
Lou, your appointment was prearranged and should have gone to plan .... what the heck is the matter with these so-called professionals
I'm so sorry you feel so angry and thoroughly fed up but can understand completely ...... it just seems that some medics are unable to cope with our condition sometimes .... particularly when they are under pressure and dealing with [b:edc695d98b]more important issues[/b:edc695d98b]
So we can both fume together  But at least we can all offer support and advice on this forum which is more than we can find elsewhere it seems
Take care and try not to feel too upset ..... :cuddle:

I have had an idea (which is an unusual event nowadays)
When we move to Eastbourne could we all just go into a blissful state of hibernation during the winter months and just leave a sign on the door............
[b:3a2a13dc7d]Do Not Disturb until Spring[/b:3a2a13dc7d]
I think it is the ultimate form of pacing, we could gets loads of rest and conserve our energy and then just emerge when the daffodils are blooming :magic:

I might not be around much today. Sarah's laptop has had to go to the menders so she will need to use my desktop pc to do her work today.
See you later. xxx

I think my GP paid more attention to me when I did go for laxatives for constipation on Tuesday Katie, than either yours or Louise's did.
It is just more confirmation that GPS don't understand CFS and don't really acknowledge it. They can't cure it so they don't know what to do.
It is very sad. I wish I had a 'proper' illness (or rather no illness at all really)
