Has the forum got M.E again ??

I found your article quite helpful.
I just recently had a diagnosis of CFS and did not believe or understand what it was about. It is good to know in your article that may there be some options and support to improve this condition. It is also helpful to know there are books or organisations that may be good for me during this period. I have found that doing a little bit of excercise make me tired but helps me to avoid depression or feeling part of the community.

I do worry. Is anyone else a compulsive worrier? I seem to be getting more OCD about things as I get older.
I am due to start some more psychotherapy next week. i wonder if it will help or whether this is just me, for ever.
It's no wonder I developed CFS and I am not going to get rid of it whilst I keep fretting about anything and everything. I do so wish I had not been brought up by such neurotic parents, I am sure it is part nature and part nurture.
Sorry, just wanted to lay that down.
Back to the snow topic.
It looks absolutely gorgeous but it is causing an awful lot of disruption.

He injected it and i am now sat in work with a heat pad on. (more subtle than the teddy that, when warmed up, smells of sweaty feet!
Good thing is that as opposed to a frozen shoulder it will settle. :P
He is also writing to the orthopod to ask him to look at my left shoulder as well as my right when i go to clinic at the end of Feb.
He also recommended deep massage to unknot the muscle fibres. :yikes:
So, no good working shoulder at all
Hope we dont score tomorrow :football: cos i cant raise my arms

Hope you are not too exhausted after your day out yesterday Julia :magic:
Still no snow here even though the traffic chaos with 200 people stranded overnight at Holden Hill which is on all the news channels is less than 20 miles away
I shouldn't complain though because those poor people must have had a real scare
Hope you are still getting loads of rest Katie, I have another jar of Horlicks here if you need it
See you later Alicia when you get back on line.

Zen Teachings
:wow: Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me for the path is narrow. In fact, just push off and leave me alone.
:wow: No one is listening until you fart.
:wow: Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
:wow: If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
:wow: We are born naked, wet and hungry, and get slapped on our ass ... then things just keep getting worse.
:wow: Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

All the schools are closed and no post or shop deliveries - I think we've got off lightly and I'm enjoying not being able to dash about and having an excuse to hibernate  :D

It's really good that you're going to have some psychotherapy - it's a matter of changing the way we think which is easier said than done.....
Much easier if you have someone to help you
James, glad you got to work in the end...hope you're home again safely !
Not surprised you're tired. Hope you can have a relaxing weekend to get over that journey :D

Alicia, I worry about absolutely [b:d1ebc6239e]everything[/b:d1ebc6239e] ... in fact I worry about things that don't even enter other people's minds
I've worried about my daughter travelling to and from work every single day in this weather ... but don't think I will every change to be honest  So you are definitely not alone on this one
