Hashimotos and Pregnancy loss

Posted , 1 user is following.

I was diagnosed with Hashimitos in 2013. its been monitored every other year since. My thyroid antibodies are always high but my TSH remains normal.

I had a miscarriage in 2018 and 2019.

My TSH most recently was 2.08 and Antibodies were 183.

The normal TSH in first trimester should be .26-2.66 and normal antibodies are usually <9.

Given that mt antibodies are so high and my TSH is just below the normal range, should i start thyroid treatment to help reduce the chance of another miscarriage?

My doctor says that because my TSH is normal i do no need to take anything.

Its my understanding that these levels fluctuate with pregnancy and recent studies suggest the use of synthroid can help reduce the risk of recurrent miscarriage.

Any thoughts or experience here? Thanks!
