Yes, unfortunately these are some of the pitfalls of menopause. I can relate to every symptom you've described. This nightmare began for me 16 years ago when at age 26 I had to have my right ovary removed because it just hemorrhaged for no reason. I am now 41 soon to be 42 next month and have two kids. I had my son at age 35 and started having peri symptoms after he was born. I didn't realize they were peri symptoms. I just thought it was amped up PMS. Then after my daughter was born four years later, I went full thrust into peri. My GYN has me on a low dose birth control to help with this crazy roller coaster ride called peri menopause. Hope you'll be feeling better soon.

I had so much trouble with panic attacks I could barely leave my home due to the hormonal changes prior to menopause. You are not dying you cannot and wont die from a panic attack no matter how bad it is. You need to be careful on what you put in your body avoid sugar and caffeine. Exercise just walking helps. Hang in there it will get better.

    Hi Rachel.

what tests did drs do to diagnose you?

mine refused to even test me and was given nothing for my depression either which has escalated badly. I'm so angry at the lack of interest just because of my age 39. I hear you though. I'm choosing herbaks to balance hormones but have yet to start.
