Have a question about an Ovarian Dermoid Cyst?

Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with an Ovarian Dermoid three years ago. Don't know the specific size, never got the surgery. In February of this year I was hit at work in the abdomen, and recently I have been dizzy/lightheaded which my Dr. diagnosed as Labrynthitis.. but I am sort of wondering is there any way that my dermoid swelled from the hit and is leaning on something which would cause me to feel like this? My doctor knows I have this and didn't even think that this could be a cause but I kind of want reassurance, lol. Thanks!

I think you will be fine.... I get nausea from my cyst but not dizziness etc. if you bring it up with your dr he may refer you for an ultrasound. Have you had any other symptoms?? X

I know it sounds easier than it is but don't worry about your operation. I mean, I can give you that advice but for some reason I can't take it. Surgery freaks me out. When is your operation?

Surgery freaks me out too
I don't know when my operation is yet, I am seeing my consultant to discuss this on Friday so should have a date confirmed at the appointment.xx

I was diagnosed with a 10cm dermoid cyst about a month ago. I was admitted to hospital with a pain I
described as "twisting" and I wanted to lay very still. 4 doctors said it was appendicitis but no - it was a
dermoid. I'd never heard of such a thing and it freaks me out to know more about it. I need to have open
surgery due to the size and although I am afraid, I want it out of my body asap! I too feel dizzy many times
during the day but I also have low blood pressure - not sure if there is a link. I've had no pain as such since. I am surprised your doctor isn't more supportive in diagnosing you fully but of course they are such busy
people and have this need to put us off as long as possible.
Keep believing and try not to worry. The good news is that 98% of them are totally benign - just weird!
