I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2015. I haven't experienced alot of this symptoms.

I have burning sensation in my neck, left arm, both thighs, left hand. I have tingling in all my extremities which in hands and feet. I can barely stand. I'm very weak and shaky. I went from using a cane July to now using a walker in Nov. I have daily migraines and sharp pain in head with movement. I can barely make breakfast for myself and have to use a shower chair. My left arm is heavy. My body feel heavy when I wake up. It takes about 30-1 hr to get out of bed. I go to sleep and wake up in horrible pain. I can barely sit up 2 hours due to the pain all over including the pain in my back. I'm thinking something else is going on. Doctors not sure. Just treating fibromyalgia and migraines with no success.

Morning Kikirae; am sorry for taking so long to reply (was waiting to see if others may have more to offer).    The pain and other symptoms that you mention do sound familiar to us others who suffer with Fibro:  however, you don't mention if you have had any tests done to exclude other conditions (which is important), as your regression is certainly a lot faster than mine.  I do have your symptoms, but it has taken over 15+ years to reach this stage.  Have you been referred/seen by a Rhuematologist for confirmation of diagnosis?  Also any other specialists to exclude other conditions?

?Another question:   are you taking any medications/therapies to assist your pain and symptoms?  This/these may make your symptoms less noticeable, and help you to cope?

Will be waiting for your reply.                                             Bron

Thanks for replying bronwyn97278. My rheumatologist diagnosed me with fibromyalgia in 2015 but I had symptoms for almost a year. I have been on about 15 meds for anti inflammatory, narcotics, anti depressants and antiseizures meds. I have pain in my both hips, neck, shoulders, knees, inner ankles, and feet. I have to wear shoes in the house just to walk on the foot. My heels are tender to touch. My joints in my hands get stiff and painful. All have these things going on added to the list I give you before. Cymbalta, gabapentin separately and combined. It has not been effective. I have taking a hurt and patch which help for about a month at little bit. Very expensive. 300-526 month. Not effective the 2 month. I have been on Lyrics not effective at all. I was referred to the pain clinic not effective. I had steroid injections in both thighs. Left I had steroid flare that was very bad for almost 2-3 weeks. I still tried injection in right hip last for 1 1/2 weeks this was because all my doctor thought I had bursitis in both hip. They still hurt. They try fentanyl patch, Norco, Motrin Celebrex, Mobic, Relafan, Skelaxin (worked first dose relaxed back muscles) but I am allergic. Zanaflex, Aleve, Tylenol ES 3x day, I even tried Turmeric, Glucusomine chondroitin, I changed my diet, I had aqua therapy not effective. Now I was active and exercising regularly until June. I pulled a muscle in my back and I been downhill since then. I went from in June to walking with a cane in July despite the aqua therapy and Walking with a walker in Nov. All my test are normal. My ESR and CRP have been elevate at times. I have checked for Lupus and RA. I also was put on steroid tapering in October. Was not effective any pain relief. I was on midrin and imitrex for Migraine. I was admitted in the hospital not r/o stroke because they cause tingling on the right side on my head, face, tongue, and distorted speech. My MRI of brain showed lesion on white matter which was there in 2014. Mild bulging cervical spine and hemiangoma on T 12. ( small). I was referred to a neurologist. He continued imitrex that was working. Started Topamax that is not effective. Only taking Tylenol 3x day because Rheumatologist, PCP, pain clinic docs giving up on me. I had a emg of lower extremities. I couldn't feel some nerve conduct. The tech said something was wrong with the machine I think I need it done again. I was told it was normal. My rheumatologist is referring me to University of Michigan. All my doctors say they think more fibromyalgia but they don't know what. I wonder if I had MS because all the symptoms and plan to ask for MS work up. I am have been on baclofen for 2 months 3-4 a day. I just started gabapentin because of tingling and not working. I requested Elavil. So in a nut shell nothing is effective Im in high level of pain to where I went to the ER last week. My docs are giving up on me. Just suffering in pain with no answers. Sorry for novel but wanted to be detailed.
