I am off drinks from 7th Jan 2016.

Was admitted in hospital for acute pancreatitis.

Can I now starting having beer again after 1 year of the attack?

Unfortunately no. The alcohol is what set it off and will just continue to damage and someday turn into cancer, GOD forbid. Please don’t drink anymore it WILL kill you. Sorry to be so blunt but this is the horrible truth. Good luck and God Bless!

Yes, I know this sucks but I have chronic pancreatitis and any attempt to drink ends up with tears and hospitalizations. I'm not big on reforming myself but I simply realized that I'm physically not able to ingest ethanol. Truly, my honest sympathies go out to you

I'm no saint when it comes to alcohol, but just a reminder that pancreatic cancer comes with a 100% mortality rate. That might motivate you.
