Hi Tracy, have you looked at photos of urticaria and does your daughter's look similar?

Was it your GP who said it was urticaria?  Maybe he didn't know what the rash is and just used Urticaria as a general description.

How old is your daughter and what does the rash look like?

      Hi

The rash does look like pictures I've seen on the web. It's just not itchy. We had an appointment Sunday for the out of hour thanes doc aty local hospital on Sunday and he claimed that this type of condition was his area of expertise

      Today will be day 3.

My daughter is 5 yrs old

Is she otherwise well?  The doctor could be right but I am surprised it isn't itchy.  Have any of her friends got any of the childhood illnesses?  It's a long time since I had a small child!

I'm sure the same thoughts pass through your head,  such as an allergy to something new or a childhood illness and then we have the urticaria [nettle rash] that has appeared - on what part of her body?

It was on her arms legs and face. But this morning at the moment it is hardly visable only bruises from yesterday. But from experience of the other days it could still show up
