I had raised liver enzymes after I had my baby, retested month later still raised. went for scan fir possible fatty liver. scan was clear. was then informed pregnancy can cause raised liver enzymes (wish I had of knows that before after lots of worry and anxiety) I've been told they can slightly raise and go back down

It can be anything. Sometimes is just very minor things and sometimes can indicate some illness like a fatty liver or other problems. Your doctor need to monitor that and if you continue to have elevated liver enzymes, I will suggest to have an abdominal echography. I had elevated liver enzymes for 10 years and no doctor seemed to find it abnormal. It turned out to be a fatty liver and now i have scarring in the liver, not good. So please be careful.

I've got high readings as well, everything else seems to be fine. I've been referred to a Gastroenterologist.
Have you had any updates?
