First thing is to get some perspective. Of course you have eaten within the last few weeks. If you hadn't you'd be dead. So each of those times you are, it didn't get stuck. It only feels that it might. It's very common with anxiety in general,so see a Dr to help with anxiety

I agree that you're panicking. However, if you think your tongue is swollen and you've got thrush you really do need to see a doctor. Thrush can make swallowing a bit uncomfortable, but it can easily be treated by taking pills for a few weeks.

Aerophagy (unconscious air swallowing) is a well-known symptom of anxiety. We all swallow a certain amount of air while eating and drinking, but some people somehow get into the habit of swallowing air all the time, without realising they're doing it. This obviously causes burping. It's out of the same stable as hyperventilation, or over-breathing, which can also occur unconsciously in anxiety.

On the other hand, there's a small chance you could have a minor problem in your stomach or oesophagus. But no need to worry about that. Even if you do have a problem, it's not going to escalate in the two weeks you're waiting for an appointment.

Try not to worry too much about it. Eat foods that slip down easily for the time being - not because eating harder foods would be dangerous but because the easier it is to swallow, the less you'll dwell on the problem.
