IM 28 fit and healthy male bout 8 months ago I started with lower back pain and I have had this ever since. My arms knees legs have also started hurting the last few months. I used to have excellent memory that has changed my short term memory is shocking I forget things all the time even when someone has just said something. I'm so tired I concstantly feel exhausted I wake up feeling worse than when I went to bed.my concentration is poor I feel myself drifting away after maybe only 30 seconds of concentrating. I am also very sensitive to any noise above talking volume I have to cover my ears. I've been to the doctors loads and had ct scans and Mri scans and blood tests all come back clear. They have sent me for a final blood test if that comes back clear they are thinking of send me to a rheumatologist . I have had enough of this I want to feel well again .

Hi Josh, do you have brain fog?

Well that's a very big indicator of ME. I'll message you because I take something that helps with brain fog and diziness.

Your symptoms sound very like ME/CFS. A rheumatologist is an appropriate specialist to see. For more information on this illness, Google "solve me/cfs initiative." In the meantime, get plenty of rest and don't push yourself. You can get better. Just curious: can you pin this to something that happened 8 months ago?

The best advice I can give you is to get plenty of rest, don't try to push through the fatigue, and pace yourself. Avoid sugar and caffeine, get a good night's sleep if you're able to (can be very difficult with ME/CFS), and de-stress in whatever way you can--meditation, relaxation tapes, listening to music, whatever. The goal is to give your body every chance to heal, and this can take time. There is no cure or treatment for ME/CFS, but you can get better. I know several people who've gotten a lot better.

Hi Josh. ...so sorry to hear your feeling like this. It's good that your going to see a rheumatologist they are the ones to tell tell you...I really hope you haven't got cfs but your symptoms seem to be leaning towards it. When you say your exhausted is it to the point where you just can't function at times cos I remember when it first hit me it feels like you have had an an atheistic. I've been diagnosed for 12 years now. I was a very active social person that was always on the go. Now I hardly ever get out. Good luck. Gentle hugs

I'm sorry to hear you're poorly Josh. Like others, I advise you not to try to 'push' through this condition. If it is M.E. pushing will make it worse! I have an osteopath who specialises so I am very fortunate. I live north west England. Let us all know once you have your diagnosis and we will all be willing to help you come to terms and give you tips to help yourself.

    regards.
