I ordered a pair, looked at them, and was afraid I would kill myself, so I never even tried them. I loved my knee scooter. I have heard some people say online that they liked them though. Sorry I can't give more info that that.

Hi, I used fore arm crutches for both ankle replacements. They do require a liittle more strength than under arm crutches. I prefered fore arm crutches. An option I used is the hands free walker called Iwalk 2.0.  It is basically a "peg Leg" you strap on with your knee bent. Go to the web site for more information.  They take only a little effort to learn and you can walk with your hands free. I used them to vacuum the house!  Of course a knee scooter is a must for the most part. Good Luck Carrie
