Have you had dry mouth on lexapro?

I suffer from anxiety and depression and one of my main anxiety symptoms is dry mouth.

Im on 100 mg of zoloft and have terrible dry mouth also from

The medication. I’ve read that Lexapro had much lower instances of dry mouth compared to other ssri’s.

Would love to hear opinions if you’re on lexapro!

    Yes dry mouth is common ,but really not too much with lexapro for me.hope this helps

      Hello Pam, i see your on lexapro or escitalopram, can you tell me about your first week on lexapro and how many Mg did you start on? Thank you

      Hello Agnes,I. First started on Prozac 20mg but had some gastrointestional issues(diarrhea) so I was switched to lexapro 10mg taken it now for 5weeks and it does help with anxiety but still not completely so my psych.wanted me to increase to 20mg but I was concerned so we agreed on 15 mg.so far it is good but it takes at least that much time to really notice a real difference.The first week or so I had sleepiness and sometimes an anxiety headache and I thought it was not working but you have to give it time to work.I found the hardest thing was I was

      putting much thought into it and sometimes still do but I am much better.Hope this helped you.Good luck to you and please keep me posted.Thanks
