Yes I have been on the generic of Arava for over a year. My symptoms have gone away & my RA is now in remission. So far I have had no side affects.

20mg of Arava or leflunomide, and within 10 days all my pain from arthirits was gone, but I felt terrible, headaches and just feeling off, went to regular Dr and my blood pressure was dangerously high, told it could not be the arava, but that was the only new med that had been introduced in the previous ten days.
I took things into my own hands, and rang the manufacturer, on the side of the bottle of meds, and asked for help, could it be causing blood pressure issue, immedaitley asked me for my regular Dr's name, he rang me back and told me not to take any more Arava.
Chemist has since told me that a alert has come up on this drug, you must watch for high blood pressure after starting taking it, but only about 2% of patients get this reaction.
Since then I have with the rheumo specialists advice started on 10mg, which has suited me perfectly, my arthritis has settled right down, when she suggested I go back on 20mg dosage I refused.
