Having a break over christmas time

Posted , 6 users are following.

Been on Orlistat for 3 months and lost 1.5 stone so far.

I have stuck to the fat rule 100% and thankfully no side effects.

I really can't decide whether to take a break over the christmas break, or try and carry on. I am not planning to bing but just enjoy food and not have to worry about fat counting for a week.

Is it worth it or will I regret it and find it hard getting on track..... any experiences greatly appreciated.

Hiya I'm thinking the same and also undecided.

I took a 2 week break in May when I went abroad all inclusive. I put on about 4lb but soon lost it again.

I'm nearly at my goal having lost 6 stone this year with just one more to go. I think I do need to have a break as I won't be at home Xmas day and don't want to risk side effects!

    Good luck!

I have been wondering the exact same thing. I've lost a stone in 4 weeks. I did have a meal out last week so I took my pill in the morning with my porridge and then I ate a normal lunch but without my pill and went out in the evening, again no pill and was fine....no side effects. I nicied a few chips off my friends plate and they tasted really greasy, I figured it was because I haven't had them for a while. Which is good.

firstly well done,  i myself was debating the same as you but decided that i will stick to it over christmas as i want this to be a life change,  my rule for christmas is that i will eat smaller portions and am using a side plate as my guide, smile  i will eat what fits on my side plate and nothing more.  that way i get to eat and sample the nice things but will keep fat to a m inium.  i am hoping the side effects will be minumum but my way of looking at it is that it really is not a side effect it is the tablet removing the fat

    good luck for the season
