Sounds exactly like what happened to me.  I was diagnosed with vestibular neuritis.  You need to see an Otologist.  A doctor that specializes in this.  He/She can determine if it's what I have VN or BPPV or something else.  I am now in vestibular therapy.  It's PT for these types of disorders.  It's a long road to recovery.  But first you need to know what you have.

This sounds like what I'm going through also. One evening I suddenly became very dizzy and lightheaded and felt like my body was floating almost. It was hard to diagnose but finally I was diagnosed with vestibular neuritis. I have a very hard time focusing my eyes, I'm dizzy every day and just feel out of it and lightheaded all the time. I just started going to a physical therapist and she said it will get better but it will take time. It has caused me so much anxiety which is making everything worse. I encourage you to get a diagnosis and exploring physical therapy options. It has also been over two months for me. I hope you start to feel better soon!

I've been discouraged lately because I thought I was getting better and then completely went downhill again, which is why I started therapy. I hope it starts to work. They said my neck is really tight and that I have bad posture which is adding to my problems. So if you are tense and anxious like me id recommend a massage or just simple neck stretches. Once I started working on my neck my headaches have been less intense.

Yes I get super tensed, which cause me to get anxious and causes my panic attacks. The good thing I was able to set 2 appointments with an otologist, won't know if they accept my insurance till Monday. I'm trying to stay hopeful and positive put it's hard. Sorry to hear that you're moving backwards.

I had the same thing, woke up one day and I was so dizzy. It made me have a panic attack. That was 5 weeks ago. My GP believes it's a viral inner ear illness either labyrinthitis or vestibular neuritis. I'm on the wait list to see a specialist. It's made me anxious and depressed. I'm not dizzy anymore tho and I can work again and drive. I'm making progress it's just slow :-) I read a typical case for VN is 6-8 weeks but it varies from person to person

It will I assure u! Have faith! Just two weeks ago I couldn't drive, I had panic attacks all the time, I couldn't eat, I had dizziness, couldn't work. Now I'm back at work, driving, and living my life the best I can. I'm not 100% better, I'm about 70% but it will happen, just need to remember it does take time. Xx

Thank you for you're positive words. Today it's been rough, pretending like nothing wrong for my kids.

I totally understand. I have three kids (7,5 and 3) and I still struggle some days. It's the worst thing I have ever had but u do make progress even if it's slow. The first week or two were the worst. Be kind to urself. Maybe go back to ur GP and see if u can be refered on to a specialist? I'm still waiting for mine so it can take awhile. What r ur symptoms today?

The same thing that I been feeling for the last 2 months, dizziness, headaches, my right ear hurts .. It's really getting me down today

I wonder if it's vestibular migraines or something? I'm sure I read that labs/VN don't accompany with ear pain.
