Having anxiety

Hello my name is Jenni first time here. I guess I am desperate because I just want someone to tell me is going to stop. I had a hard fall Jan 10 2015 and I fractured my greater tuberosity (the ball at the top of arm) it's still not all the way healed. Frozen shoulder set in and my arm already hurt from break BUT now EVERY day that goes by the pain is getting worse. It feels like sharp pains all the way around but I also feel as if I hit my funny bone all the time. Do others feel that? And I feel this major pain banding around my wrist? Pain meds are a joke. I don't even want to shower or anything I feel on a down spiral over a fall! I am 41!

I know how desperate you feel, it is mentally and physically horrendous but dont worry you will get lots of advice and support here. My shoulder froze without injury so it may be different to yours, but however it happens it causes pain all over the arm, neck, wrists, hands, you name it, it hurts it! Pain meds were useless, try heat and colds packs with them, might help a bit.
Get lots of advice from your shoulder surgeon, in my experience GP's were a waste of time, and if you cant wait for it to reach the thaw stage, perhaps you may need surgery, which is probably not what you want to hear after your break, others on here may have advise on that.
One thing I can tell you is that it WILL get better, you will be driving again, putting your hair up and ditching the elasticated trousers and enormous tops! Once you have a plan with your specialist you will feel more in control and able to cope.
xx

Yes you have typical FS bought on by your fall
Best try and get Ultrasound from your GP and ask to be referred to a shoulder orthopaedic surgeon (it is your right to get consultation on nhs if you are here in the UK) some areas are better with quick appointments than others. I have been lucky and seen quite quick really...........Mine came out the blue - no injury. Had ultrasound, saw triage in Nov 2014, saw consultant in Jan2015 & had op in Feb..........It hasn't worked & I now have to have further manipulation on 20th April.
I completly understand about your pain - like when you hit your funny bone - it takes your breath away & you want to sob
Others on here will tell you exactly the same I'm afraid
Can identify with sleepless nights & living like a tramp in oversized clothes
Stay strong & positive - go for surgery - the pain will ease - read everyones threads on here - you will learn a lot...........and moan & whinge on here cos we will listen & support you - we all know how you feel huni ..........
Forget physio it will be far to painful & will get you no where untill you have a definate diagnosis & the correct treatment - push to see consultant! Good luck, sending you very gentle hugs xxx

if your in England it's going to be a long hard process getting to the bottom of your problem. But first of all you need an MRI so they can see what they are dealing with. Every one of us on here feels and understands your pain, we all suffer that deep bone aching pain. I wish you luck.......but you will have to jump up and down to get somewhere. You need STRONG prescription meds too.....
wishing you lots of luck and sending you ever so gentle hugs 😘❌❌❌
