Having bad cramps before period months after having a ruptured ovarian cyst

Hello all,

I had a ruptured ovarian cyst on my right ovary over 3 months ago.  It hurt a lot and took around a week or so for the pain and swelling to go away but I had felt like I made a full recovery.  However, ever since my cyst ruptured, I now get bad cramps particularly on my right side during the week before my period.  I haven't ever experienced cramps before my period starts, I always get them during my period, but haven't ever during the week before my period until after my cyst had ruptured.  I am concerned that this is happening and am curious if anyone else has experienced this as well and if anyone knows what this means?  I am worried that my cyst may be reforming.  Any information is very appreciated!
