Having eye pain with moment and also migrane

imageI am recently diagnosed with migrane and taking medicine for it.But my eye pain is getting severe and having sharp pain in upper lid and eyebrow while moving my eye and my left is watery most of the time.I had appointment with optician yesterday and he wrote an urgent referral to Neuro Ophthalmology.He weote Unexplained VA reduction in the Rae as above.NIWP.LE elevated on repeat as above.

can anyone explain why they refer me for urgent hospital appointment
