Having Health Anxiety is the Absolute worst!

i literally just got a massage, deep tissue, and got up feeling lightheaded and dizzy. i went into straight panic mode after googling... i started freaking out, crying thinking i was having a stroke!!! everyday its something!!!! i hate health anxiety!!!

    i am the same at the minute its ever since this virus came about my mind is in overdrive the slightest thing and i think something is seriously wrong with me and worrying me or my family will get it hard to switch off from it

    I developed health anxiety Oct 2019, one night my heartbeat felt different and i started having a panic attack thinking something was wrong & that i was going to die. Ever since i am paying so much attention to how my chest feels and my breathing & heart palpitations that i get myself so scared that something is wrong with me which turns into panic attacks because im so scared of dying.

    Hope you dont mind me asking if you have any things to try that helped you?

      my first panic attack was Dec 2019. it happened in my car and i was sure i was going to die from a heart attack. i never experienced it before but it has been hell ever since. i too have a severe fear of dying. it got so bad that i quit my job to take on my mental health full time. i started CBTherapy twice a week and tons of research. also i got a FULL physical and blood tests to see what the hell caused me to lose my mind that day in December. turns out i had a few diagnosis'; Vit D levels low, H. Pylori, low thyroid levels.

      i tried to get my health and levels back up as well, taking Vit D, an endoscopy which is when i was diagnosed with the H Pylori, and just repeat test. Also youtube has helped me in a major way. i looked up a lot of Anxiety channels. but most importantly, PRAYER! not sure if youre religious but letting Go and letting God has been all i can really do. walking by faith that one day ill recover from this. feel free to private message me if you want to discover more.

      for my heart palps which almost always happen at night for me i usually sit up put the fan right on me and sip water and just breathe and try to relax once i feel it slowing down i check my heart rate on my fitbit watch to see its settled down and when it does that really eases my mind because i know it was just an anxiety nothing serious

    I am obsessively checking my temperature every day and even if it says it's normal I am CONVINCED the thermometer is wrong, rather than me being wrong about my symptoms! I cough once and I am also convinced I have corona virus. Everyday it's something else, some new illness, and I feel so bad asking for reassurance constantly from my partner. I just want to be normal and not so focused on my body and health all the time and this pandemic is really slowing the healing process.
