Having Pain in Thumb Joint of Right Foot Without GOUT

Guys I'm a 24 years male who had to undergo arthroscopy for meniscal repair. Incidental finding of hyperuricemia stopped my surgery and my doctor advised me to take zurig for 6 months. I never had gout in my life but after taking zurig I had repeated episodes of gout in my right and left thumb. My uric acid is now in normal range, I'm still taking zurig. There is no gout now but the thumb joint gets really painful whenever I do exercises for my meniscal repair. I went to a rheumatologist and she said that you didn't need any medication for high uric acid at first place because you never had any gout before you started taking medication and that is referred to as Asymptomatic Hyperuricemia and no medication should me taken unless you have an end organ damage. The other rheumatologist says that continue taking zurig. My joint gets painful even after light weight baring and exercises. Please give me solution i'm really confused

I had a rheumatologist who insisted on putting me on hydrochloroquin when I had no RA symptoms. I do have a high RA factor but that’s it. At any rate, I did have stuffiness in my middle fingers on both hands at different times. I went to orthopedic each time who injected I think cortisone and have had no pain since.
