Hi there you're not posting too much if you feel you need to talk to someone. Have you spoken with your GP, or do you have a therapist that can discuss how you feel ? The first thing to do is to get checked over by your Dr and then he can rule out anything physical.Panic attacks are horrible but it's just your mind playing tricks on you. It's hard work but you can get through this, tell yourself it is my anxiety, try breathing techniques to help you cope. There isn't a magic cure but you can and will get through this. Talking is the first step. You are not alone. Stay strong. Good luck.

Are you on any anxiety medication? For my actual panic attacks, a half a Xanax takes them away for at least 4 hours. Now Benzos are NOT a long term fix, but for those debilitating "I'm about to die" symptoms, it helped me. Also, slow calm breathing really helps me.

Panic attacks are awful but you really need to tell yourself it's just anxiety. I know that is so hard but when I was having alot of panic attacks my anxiety was off the chart and I didn't think I would get through it. I have since learned different breathing techniques that have helped and a different way of thinking through speaking with my therapist. You really will get through it honestly you will. Please think about therapy it might really help. Look on youtube for different breathing techniques and ways to cope with anxiety until you can see your GP or start therapy. I wish you well. cheesygrin

Remember the best thing to do when having a panic attack is to invite it. Do not fight it, accept that its here and try to watch it, and not react to it. The more you will it to come the faster it will go. Try not to be the worried observer but the strong and compassionate observer. If you do this it will be over faster.

I know what you mean I used to pray I would wake up one day and my anxiety would be gone, but that hasn't happened. So what we have to do is seek help and keep being strong. Positive thinking is the way to go, you can do it you really can. Breath through it and remember you are not alone. Good luck.cheesygrin

Same here. I live in panic 24/7. The mind is very powerful and convince us that the worst is happening when everything is fine. Unfortunately it's very difficult to control even when being aware. My doc wants me back on antidepressants which I'm hesitant...however I do rely on clonazepam to calm me down.

If anxiety it disturbing you life and making you unhappy then you have to do something about it.

Go to your doctor re medication, that alone wont help anxiety so consider therapy to learn how to cope with anxiety.

Anxiety thrives off fear and at the moment you are fueling the fire.

You also have to do things to help yourself there is no magic wand

    Stay Strongcool
