having suffered for some 20+ years with pompholyx eczema I find that one of the problems is cellulitis. Antibiotics can assist but this recent spasm is severe and I have been quite ill.
I have already had a full week of antibiotics and the problems persists, The lower left leg is twice the size of the right and gives me cause for concern. There is pain, swelling and discomfort although the swelling in the groin appears, for now, to have gone.

I have been suffering similiar symptoms on my lower legs. The Huntington Hospital's staff said to elevate the affected leg above the pelvis while lying down. If leakage is a lot, get the 2nd skin bandage, topper, and curaid bandage with adhesive tabs. Use the 1st skin lotion which is clear nail polish and coat the gelatin 2nd skin bandage with it which is designed for burns, basically. Make sure that you remove the blue plastic protective sheet from the 2nd skin bandage before the coat of clear nail polish - 1st skin. Let the coated gelatin bandage dry. Use Bactine as a spray around the wound. Adhere the dried gelatin bandage over the weeping sore with the curaid that has adhesive tabs. Tape a topper and then a maxipad over that if necessary. Bound with an elastic 4 inch band. That procedure above has helped me but lasts no longer than a day. It has to be redone, daily. I had to use camphor phenique cold sore medicine if 1st skin is not available. 1st skin come in a nail polish application brown bottle. Scott
