Having trouble

Hi everyone, my name is Benfield I have been trying to get bck to my target weight of 72 kilos. I bought a running machine which is great and use it for an hour and 20 mins daily on a hard uphill regime for a month now. My wife measures all my calories and we use a zig zag diet making sure to leave 200-400 calories spare so I don't eat all the exercise calories. I have cut out meat and have had no alcohol for a month. I cannot shift from 77.7 kilos and this morning i was 79.4 kilos. Very fed up.........how can you sweat like that every day and gain 2.4 kilos. I feel like a really fit fat person, and would rather be an unfit thin person.......help please

sometimes if you are not eating enough it can have an adverse effect and your body can shut down.  Make sure you are eating enough protein in your diet

Hi thanks, I had a day off training yesterday went for a meal with the wife. Now back to 83 kilos as if 3 weeks of hard training never happened. So going back to old methods 700 calories a day for 10 days or more. Very boring, part of the reason for training was so that I could eat a bit more but obviously not all the exercise calories. 2 years ago I was 18 stone and really starving was the only thing that killed it. Was hoping to try a different method.......

Benfield, you gotta be there for the journey. I was 93 kg in Aug 2013 and I lost 20kg in one year. Now I am 80kg. Over Christmas and the New Year (20 days) I gained nearly 5 kg. I feel like King Cnut! For me, it's snacks that do it. I can take on board 1500 kcals in one evening. One beer provokes a snack attack, bacon sandwich, cheese, choc biscuits: even stealing the cooking chocolate from the freezer. Yes, it is difficult. You just have to stick with it.

One important factor if you do exercise Benfield is to train yourself well to eat a balance but healthy diet. When it comes to food intake – increase veggies and limit sugar - low-fat dairy products and lean proteins such as fish, beans and poultry are one of the examples.

Do exercise according to your daily hourly basis and do the motivation every day. ^^
