I'm 29 years old, asian male, 5'6, weight about 217, I have 2 questions, sorry but i may sound crazy but whenever i sleep i feel like i run of out of air and i gasp for air, this only happens some nights when it does i find it hard to sleep. I feel like I'm going crazy here because it only happens at night and i feel fine during the day and when i actually fall asleep and wake up again to like use the bathroom i can go to sleep straight after. I used to smoke back then for 11 years, but i quit for 3 years now, could it be because of my smoking back then and i do weight about 217 and i google my symptoms and it could be sleep apnea but i don't think it is or is it because I'm 217 lbs or anxietyand my other issue is with my throat, i feel my 2 issues could be connected or maybe I'm just thinking too much. My issue with my throat is that i feel something is stuck in there, i tried everything but nothing else to work, i went to see my doctor and he sent to a ENT and they did a x ray on me and they could not find anything. i eat fine, i drink fine, everything is fine and i also google my symptoms and it be globus sensation and that's what my doctor said too but he said it be acid reflux gave me prescription for Omeprazole but i been taking for 4 months now and nothing is happening. I told all of these to my doctor but that was a year ago, i don't know what to do anymore, has anyone have similar or know someone with these symptoms as crazy as it may sound.
