Does anybody know what would be considered too high for HDL? I keep reading articles that suggest that having extremely high HDL can be dangerous. I am in Canada and mine are 258

Your HDL is just one lipoprotein number of several that need to be evaluated along with your triglycerides. Just because you have a high HDL doesn't mean you're in danger if your other numbers are within the limits. If your triglycerides are high then you have reason to be concerned. But talk to.your cardiologist if you're so concerned.
