My name is Sal, 39 male. I really have an enigmatic condition that I have had for almost 2 years now. I basically have 2 conditions but will try to discuss only one of them which is the more debilitating one .
In Feb last year, while I was driving i suddenly felt some kind of a burst of pressure in my ears for couple of seconds, more on the left one. I went back home to relax and figure out what happened to me, since then i have been having these symptoms I am about to explain here constantly, they have eased since then but still have most of them now 24/7.
I feel some pain in my ear, but it feels it is deep inside my head not just the ear, pain is almost gone in this area but there is still a slight pressure and a clicking sound whenever i swallow. Pressure along the forehead and around my head and the top, this is unusual but the pressure shifts sometimes down my face to sinus area, I don’t have any seasonal allergy symptoms anyway. I feel tired and sleepy as well, also a little spot in the top left side of my chest feels sore it goes away sometimes and then i feel palpitation sometimes too, more like I can feel my heart beats louder!!. My chest, especially where the heart is, get a weird feeling of weakness or discomfort often and it gets a little better momentarily when rubbed and massaged . So they are together head and chest symptoms along with general fatigue and sleepiness.
When I wake up in the morning it is the moment i feel the best then in a little while symptoms start to get worse again, and then in the latest time through the day I would feel better again, often. Also, I feel much better when I lie down and i found out it is all because whenever I apply some pressure on any part of my head it makes me feel better, not sure 100% but I believe so. Even when I sit down it makes a different for me. I also noticed when I stand still, not walking, is the time I feel the worst. There are days symptoms ease somewhat but i always have them.
I have done holter, ultrasound and blood work for the heart. I have done MRI for brain, cervical, lumbar and thoracic and All required blood work. I have even done some trial and error with a lot of food as I was suspicious I may have some food allergy or intolerance. All came out negative!! There was only a small nodule in my thyroid which the doctor said it is nothing I should worry about beside a minor arthritis in my neck which doctors said it is not likely it is causing these symptoms.
I wake up everyday hoping this will go away and it has been almost 2 years, I can say I feel way better than when it started but I feel it is hitting a dead end now and because of that it has started to give me a little depression lately. I believe I don’t have any kind of anxiety as the way symptoms get better or worse depend on particular posture, time of the day but not to any event or mood that would trigger anxiety also.
If anyone thinks he got a condition that has most or many of these symptoms in common please help with sharing information and I would be grateful to you.
Thank you

Hi Sal, sorry for what you are going through. Good nutrition and a multi vitamin could help, I see you've had various tests including bloodwork, have you been to the dentist lately? Teeth grinding and or TMJ can cause pain in the ears and clicking in the jaw. It can also make you have fatigue, sleep apnea also causes fatigue. Good luck.
