    hi there

The best treatment I have ever used is \"full marks solution\" it is an oily solution and it is fantastic as you leave it on for 10 mins and you receive a good metal comb with it!! It costs £6.00 approx, including the metal comb, and the solution does two applications, it gets rid of the eggs too.

Full marks is fantastic and it does get full marks from me 10/10

    I hope this helps

I am elderly and had g/kids stay for hols picked up lice (hate the way everyone says \"I have nits\", no ..... \"you have lice\"!!

Anyhow decided to try a new treatment on the market, \"Quick nits\"

I live on my own and changed bedding towels ..you name it....Left it on as directed 4 hours with a cap and then overnight, NO WAY!!! still scratching and feeling like a fool at my age...Not to be done (after paying so much)

Did it again, this time I absolutely saturated my hair, did the cap thing again and left it on my hair all night,....No Way !!! I am still scratching!!! Looked for a phone number to ring them but just got the web site, and no way of contacting these people direct.

Oh and the fine tooth comb which was included in the pack the little teeth all broke up first go...lol

I have reared seven children ( all adults now) and of cause they had lice at different times in their lives, I always used that 12 hr oily smelly stuff for them, and it was brilliant ( they are all still alive and well ( THE KIDS THAT IS)... but just thought I would go natural this time, but It's no good if it don't work!!!!!!!! And it just doesn't.. $15.00 down the drain!!

My 2 daughters caught head lice. I tried lots of different treatments and the only one that worked for me was coconut oil.

Saturate the hair with coconut oil, place a shower cap on and leave overnight. In the morning, don't rinse out, just dampen the hair and shampoo with coconut oil shampoo followed by coconut oil conditioner. most of the lice and nits will have dropped out of the hair while shampooing, and then just get the remainder out with a good nit comb.
