Head pain.

I used to suffer badly with migraines caused by hormones. I.e. I would get them before or after a period. They lasted 3 days. I have had an aching at the bottom of my scull on and off for years since. I used to go to a chiropractor as I was a keen horse rider, he used to put me back into shape. He also used to cricket my neck , not sure what the correct term is. Anyway afterward I would no longer have the aching at the bottom of my scull. This worked for a long time until I stopped going. Then after having my son I was put on b pressure tablets The aching went away all together as if by magic Years passed and they changed my blood pressure tablets . Then after a while the aching returned intermittently Just a niggle . Then after a root filling this TN began. Now when I get an attack I can feel the same pain but more intense than previous. I realise this sounds a little complex but just wondered if anyone el se can relate.Doctors tomorrow so may bore her with this story.

It's not boring. I think that this most recent attack was caused by a scale and clean by the dentist! I am going to the dentist Friday hoping to get a mould made for a mouth guard. I'm not letting the dentist anywhere near my mouth with anything metal, that's for sure!

Louisa why are you getting a mouth guard? Do you grind your teeth.?

I am not sure if I grind or clench my teeth. But I have problems with Temperomandibular mandibular joint. This could be due to having had 8 wisdom teeth removed? That isn't a typo, yes I had a double set of wisdom teeth. This was back in the dark ages and the hospital removed them all at once. It took me 3 months to fully recover. My chiropractor and Bowen therapist think the TN pain I'm now suffering could be a result of the past surgery.
