Head pressure and Lightheadedness

For the last 4 days I've felt lightheaded and my head seems to feel heavier somehow. Like there is a bit of pressure in it, all around. Whenever I'm walking around I feel like I might faint/ hit the floor/ blackout. The room is not moving but my body is the one that doesn't feel stable. Before the 4 days I had been anxious and had attacks.

I should include that I wear glasses and that several months ago I head something like this so I went and changed glasses but after few days of being alright I felt unstable again. I feel like this could be the after effects of my anxiety attacks from days ago. Or maybe that I'm not breathing correctly. Maybe acid reflux.

BTW I don't take anxiety meds.

That's a common symptom of anxiety. I have that and it sucks feeling like you're about to faint most of the time. It goes away when you actually ignore it. When experiencing anxiety attacks, your body goes through a shock and a chemical imbalance which makes you feel like that.

Thanks for the reply. It's just that it has been several days since an attack and I'm still feeling like unstable when walking. That's why I was a bit weired out by that. But I think you're right about the chemical imbalance, I just didn't know that it can go on for days after the initial very stressful event.

Definitively can! Your body goes into a shock and produces loads of adrenaline. Think about that. It mostly hits when you're calm and relaxed AFTER the anxiety attack which makes it worse.

    Sooo common.

I get that if my anxiety levels have been high. But when anxiety is under control it goes away.

It used to send me into a panic... and make it worse as the adrenaline is soaring and it gets a circle.

This sounds difficult but trust me it worked for me.

I was so fed up of it when i was stood washing up the room was swimming and i was just about to go on high alert.. that i said ok its just anxiety carry on.... and

Thank you for the reply. My anxiety levels had been high for like 2- 3 weeks: 2-3 panic attacks a dat and constant anxiety 24/7. But I did manage to lessen the anxiety a bit before the 4 days. But during the 4days the "floating head" ,off-balance feeling started and stayed with me from when I wake up until I go to bed at night. It scares me that it can last for days without any panic attacks causing it.

Do you think it's because you have been breathing shallowly or overbreathing? Because I hear it can be one of the causes. But that for me the lightheaded feeling starts morning to night with no break, so that would mean I have not been breathing properly the whole 4 days.
