Head pressure for a week- 4months in

Hey all,

Before i explain i want to say i have already contacted my GP and Awaiting a phone call tomorrow.

So i am now 4months in on 20mg of Citalopram and over the last week i have had a head pressure in the front of my head, some days it will be a pressure in my nose. There is no "pain" like a normal headache, its just pressure and it's there, so it's kind of annoying. I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this at all? It is triggering my anxiety (note why i have contacted my GP) and it's causing me to think it is something seriously wrong 😦

Does anyone have any kind of idea what this could be or if you have experienced this yourself, if so, how long did it last? It's really starting to worry me, i have had it for just over a week now, yesterday it felt like it was clearing and felt like a very mild pressure in my nose, as if i had knocked my nose or something, but today it is back in my head.

I should probably mention that i am under a lot of Stress and not really been sleeping to great, but i am trying to change that. But with the stress it's not really something i can control.

I am secretly hoping that someone has something they can tell me and my anxiety is high due to this.

Sorry for the long post, i really do hope someone can help ease my mind, and hopefully my anxiety too.

Hi Jade. Just wishing you well and hope you're doing okay as you took time to reply to my coming off Citalopram after five weeks. I really appreciated that and while I can't give any advice with what your experiencing at the moment, I hope it all settles down with the meds and the head pressure eases.

Thank you so much Alan πŸ˜ƒ

i am okay, the head pressure is up and down, doctor believes its down to all the stress and anxiety on a roller coaster at the moment. I have a lot going on and not a lot of time to prepare for some things.

i have a baby with a congenital heart defect so it's just non stop appointments and worries, and then there's other stuff going on on top so it's very stressful at the moment, but hey! I'm fighting through and keeping strong πŸ˜ƒ

I hope you are well, did you stick to the meds or are you trying something else?

      Jade x
