Head pressure on right side of head

Hi everyone, new to the group. I have been experiencing pressure/numbness on the right side of my head for 5-7 days now. it feels really uncomfortable. Could it be related to stress as I was recently diagnosed with papillary carcinoma thyroid cancer (most common one). I have a follow up with the doctor on a lymph node mapping. My doctor assures me it's not related to my diagnosis. Could this be due to anxiety?
