Head swimming and sudden spikes in BP

This is to do with my dad. He had a bone marrow transplant 15 months ago for AML, after three rounds of chemo.

According to his six weekly blood tests, all is well. He's 100% donor cells and all his bloods are at normal levels.

However, he regularly feels like his head is swimming, he describes it as feeling drunk. This has been going on for months but the doctors can't seem to pinpoint why. Occasionally he gets a spike in BP (he has machine at home) and feels really light headed, his heart rate increases too. He ended up at the hospital last week but they took bloods that showed nothing unusual. His BP went down later and they sent him home. He is convinced his heart is damaged and is causing this.

He is so fed up of feeling like this. Could it be a side effect from the chemo? Can it damage you in this way?
