Headache after surgery

I had a spinal block with a general a atheistic have had a pounding headache in the forehead since op is this normal?

    Hi Gill

    I had a headache for a few days but that's all. As you're on painkillers still I presume this should have dealt with it. Do you have dental or sight problems that could be cause?

    If you're concerned perhaps a trip to your GP to check. Hope you sort this soon xx

    Hi...It is NOT normal...you should call your surgeon immediately!

    what were you told when you were in the hospital?

    I am assuming that you had this headache at that time as well and probably addressed it to doctor and/our medical staff ...

    Go and have it checked - some things should be taken care of as soon as possible, like pounding head aches -

    let us know how you are getting on otherwise ... remember that you just had major surgery -

    I too woke up with a headache that lasted two days.  They gave me an iMITREX and it went away.
