Headache and dizzy for over 4 months

Okay so let me start from the beginning. In Febuary, I lost my voice and I started to developed cold like symptoms. This occurred frie about 1 week. After that I felt fine, but then, I started to developed symptoms that included stuffy nose only at nights, coughing up mucous, pressure on my face, ear and jaw pain. That lasted for two weeks before I went to the doctors and he diagnosed me with a sinus infection so I went on medication and it was fine. During the process, I had constant headaches and nausea, after the medication, all my symptoms left except my headache an nausea so I went back, and he said it was due to my anxiety. I've only had problems with anxiety and depression but I didn't think this was caused by that. Anyways he prescribed me w me Effexor and still my symptoms have not left. My symptoms usually last for 5 days then I don't experience any symptoms for 3 days then back to the symptoms. Symptoms include headache, nausea, eye pressure, dizziness, vertigo, feeling that my eyes can't concentrate, and more depression tbh. I think it may be a sinus related issue but idk what it could be. Please help somebody.

Oh I sometimes still feel a slight stuffy nose at night but it's not to the point where it still bothers me or I can't sleep like it use to be before my first trip to the doctors. I sometimes don't even notice it.

You might want to get an opinion from an ENT. Since this began with sinus infection, I would want to make sure it is gone. An ENT can use a scope to look up your nose (it's painless- I had it done). They may also do imaging of the sinuses.

Do you have a history of migraine before the sinus infection? How long have you been on the effexor?

Yeah I have had a history with migraines and I've been on Effexor for a month but I'm about to go in to get a prescription change to Prozac

Based solely on my own experience, I think it might be worth you researching articles on B12 defficiency, acid refux related to GERD (GORD), carbohydrate intolerance and prediabetes. I spent 2 years researching my symptoms and finally got somewhere when I realised that, my varying symptoms stemmed from my inability to absorb nutrients properly. I was fine eating anything for years and that all changed at 50.

I'm not saying that is the answer for you but it's worth reading and talking your findings over with your doctor.

    Good luck.
