Headache and Ear Disconfort When Staring at The Computer

Hi everyone, I'm 50 years old, and lately I've experienced headache and ear discomfort when staring at the computer. So I went to get my eyes checked and new prescription. I used to have 1.5 on my glasses, after having my eyes checked, they increased it to 2.00. But still have discomfort and it happens on one eye only. I had my previous glasses for a long time. I do lots of work on the computer, mainly programming and tech stuff (electronics). Is this something I'm going to have to deal with as I'm getting old, or is it something that will go away.
