Headache, disorientation, blind spot

My husband came home yesterday with a headache so severe that he threw himself into bed with his dress clothes on, had incoherent speech and complained of a blind spot in the center of his vision. He was asleep within minutes and slept 15 hours. (He usually sleeps 6 hours a night) The next morning his headache was diminished somewhat. Does anyone recognize these symptoms? Thanks for any direction.

Hello! Sorry to hear that about your husband these things are tricky unfortunately cause symptoms with the head can have a lot to do with other things but it looks like those symptoms are similar to what I get sometimes which is a Migraine with Aura. Look it up, this can make zig zag to blind spots for a little and then cause migraines which can cause impairment of speech and more but it depends cause some people have other symptoms and others don’t. What I do to help this situation out is drink a lot of fluids, rub magnesium oil on your feet everyday for 30 minutes then wash off, take supplements or use essential oils such as peppermint and lavender etc.. there  are a lot of things to consider when it comes with headaches such as diets and life style. These things take time but good luck!

All great suggestions, thank you. Magnesium deficiency was my first thought as well. We grow our own mint and dry it. He drinks mint tea daily but sadly not a fan of water, whereas I drink a gallon daily.. I do lavender everything from essential oils to cleaners but again he is not a fan.. Again thank you for your detailed response. Blessings.

Sounds like a migraine attack. It can affect your vision. Attacks can last from 12 to 72 hours. Something must have triggered it so if he can find out what his trigger is then he can try and avoid it.
