Headache everyday.

I've been having really weird headaches that have been making me feel sick and unbalanced.. they are making me feel awful. I haven't actually been sick though. They are on the righr side of my head and downwards into my neck.

The right side of my face feels heavy with it and like it doesn't want to work and then my left hand feels the same.

I went to the doctors this morning who said my eyes looked fine and that he wasn't quite sure but to go back in a week if it carries on.

Could thus be a brain tumour ?? Really starting to panic. I also get dots of light in my vision especially on white walls

    Hi Emily,

if the dr had the slightest thought it was a brain tumour you would have been sent straight to the hospital.  I know when drs look in the eyes they can tell usually as my dad had a tumour and they knew even before he had a scan, so try not to worry.

Your symptoms sound similar to mine as I get Hemiplegic Migraine, with stroke like symptoms.  I wouldnt wait a week to go back as you need to be seen by a neurologist to get a treatment plan sorted out.  Of course this will include a brain scan.

So, my advise get back to your dr asap and ask to be refered to the specialist.

Good luck and take care, hope I have been of some help.

Best wishes and let us know how you get on

thankyou for your replies. i think i have had these type of headaches and it always effects my ride side and right side of face. i have had an mri about 3 years ago where my pituitary gland was "enlarged" however after a follow up a year later, no change was found.

if they have looked in my eyes, does that mean that there isnt a tumour? its my main worry and its taking over my life at the moment. i feel so sick. the doctor said to go back in a week and he will arrange blood tests.. blood tests for what though??
