Hello my name is Brandon, I started off with a common cold about a month ago and been too many doctors all saying this way part of a virus. The cold symtoms went away but what stayed was my constant headaches, dizziness, fatigue, light headed and just unable to do any physical activity without getting dizzy or light headed. Doctors have put me on meds that have not worked and im still like this, I havnt been able to go to work or go to the gym in over a month, does anybody have any cases like this?

Go back to your doctor and ask to be referred to a ENT specialist . There is only so much a doc can do. You need to be more pushy it's affecting your daily off and not being able to work therefor needs further investigation. Be strong and get them told!!! It's your right!!! Hope you get this sorted asap.

    Hi Brandon

Sorry to hear you are suffering.  It could be that the infection has affected your inner ear, which is affecting your balance, or it could be that the infection has not fully cleared up.  It could also be vertigo, set off by the infection.  It is worth going back to your GP and to suggest he/she refers you to a consultant.

    All the best.

I would highly recommend a chiropracter Brandon.  I think that has helped me more than the drugs.

      No, I don't mind saying.

I've had migraines from childhood but there has been times when it has been worse than others.  Over the years I developed tinnitus, probably because I have always had ENT problems (allergies etc.). I also suffer with vertigo, which first  developed about 20 years ago after an inner ear infection.

With some medication and alternative treatments (acupuncture, chiropractic and herbal among others) I was able to work and continue with family life and had a good quality of life.  Five years ago the vertigo went into a permanent state and migraines became almost daily.  I collapsed and hospitalised and was then diagnosed with migrainous vertigo. I was unable to work and so had to retire on ill health.

Although I still suffer I am at a stage where medication and chiropratic treatment is giving me a better quality of life.

Once you are properly diagnosed you will begin to feel better because you will know what you are dealing with.

Keep pressing on you will eventually find a solution.
