Headache for 3 weeks

Hi all

I am 40 year old male.

Around 3 weeks ago I had sharp pain in my right temple that lasted a few seconds.  This has carried on at random times of the day. Maybe once or twice a day.  In the right temple

The next symptom I experienced was pressure behind my right eyed which comes and goes.

The occasional pressure in my temple is there daily and then sometimes in the top of my head - sure I have cheekbone discomfort too but think I am imagining that!!!

These headache does sometimes go to back of my head. And my neck does creek.

I know I have bad posture as in front of pc all day - can posture cause all this?

I am not clumsy. I do not feel nauseous with these headaches but they are just constant.  It does not prevent me from doing anything.

As far as I see nothing makes them worse - nor better unfortunately

The neurologist said he was not concerned and did kind of blame it on thyroid medicine - I am underactive on 75mg if  Levothyroxine.

I have been schedules another neuro appointment but that won’t be this side of xmas.

Can anyone help? Or offer any advice to stop these!

So how long do headaches last for? Is it only a few seconds?

How severe is the pain from 0 to 10?

      Hi Ben.

Could have the discomfort all day.  The shooting pain is a matter of seconds

Doesn’t actually hurt. Just aches so would say probably a 1 our of 10 for pain!

It can affect my whole head sometimes (the aching)

So you have a background ache and then episode shooting pains?

The background ache is it one sided or all over?

Where do you get the shooting pains? Are they always in the same place?
